The Harrington Park community is mourning the sudden and tragic loss of Wendy Ruggiero, who passed away at home on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. Beloved wife, devoted mother, cherished daughter, and loving sister, Wendy’s life was one defined by love, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to the people she cared about most. Her passing has left family, friends, and the broader community heartbroken.
Wendy was the beloved wife of Dino Ruggiero and a devoted mother to her three daughters, Nicollette, Gabrielle, and Isabella. She was also the cherished daughter of Joseph Rondinelli and Deborah Rondinelli, as well as the loving sister of Joseph and Lauren Rondinelli of Northvale and Jaime and Gerard Fernino of Old Tappan. Wendy’s nieces and nephews—Joseph, Harry, Gerard, and Jacqueline—adored her, and she was a treasured niece to Uncle Andy, William, and Mary Ann Carberry. She was deeply loved by cousins Mary and Drew and adored by her best friend, Kim, along with countless other relatives and friends who were touched by her presence.
Wendy was a true warrior in every sense of the word. She approached life with determination, accomplishing everything she set her mind to. Whether it was her career, her dedication in the gym, or her steadfast commitment to her family and friends, Wendy faced every challenge with strength and perseverance. She was known for her fierce loyalty, her boundless love, and her ability to make those around her feel seen, valued, and supported. Her kindness and courage left an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Pizzi Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will follow on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 1 p.m. at Our Lady of Victories RC Church. Family, friends, and members of the community are invited to gather to honor and celebrate Wendy’s remarkable life.
